Member Spotlight: Terry Beard
If you've ever heard the expression "A heart as big as Texas," you'd know they wrote that to describe Terry. Listen to this excerpt from his book introduction:

This is Terry Beard. If you met him, you'd never know this was a person who had speech anxiety and was reluctant to speak up and be heard. Yet, he overcame these challenges and became a member of Rotary, the Arlington Club Toastmatter, Portland Rotary Toastmaster, and was a co-founder of The Speakers Alliance, the precursor to Find Your Voice Today.
Terry poured his heart into these groups because he of his life's experience: If he could overcome his speech anxiety, he was going to help everyone he meets to do the same.
