Member Spotlight: Steven Kaufman

Steven would be the first to tell you that his life’s journey has been anything but linear. Sure, there was the “grow up, go to college, and get a job” trajectory, but that’s about where it ends.
The rest has been a big adventure. A career that began as planner at Intel and eventually landed him in the CEO seat before becoming an entrepreneur. A personal life filled with bumps and bruises side-by-side with unimaginable joy and triumph. He's published one non-fiction book, written six novels (and working on a seventh), and is known for canning jam and pickles, which he gives away to family and friends.
Steven's trek to find his voice has also been a winding road. While he was frequently assigned roles in school plays and assemblies, there was always social awkwardness and intense shyness. Through community service and study, he overcame much of this, leading to one of his favorite quotes below. Today, he enjoys serving on boards, building his consulting practice, writing, and working with the Find Your Voice Today team.
"You are not obligated to complete the work, but neither are you free to abandon it."
